Last Friday, 12 July, a ring was discovered on the footpath close to the Ponsonby Foodcourt
As one of readers tells us, "I was in Auckland and getting breakfast on Ponsonby Road when I saw a shiny object on the footpath near the Ponsonby Food Court, when I picked it up it was a ring. I went off to run a workshop and planned to post something about having found it but alas I forgot and have just found it in my handbag.
"Given your FB page is known and loved by Ponsonby I wondered if you could post something about it? It's a sterling silver, hand beaten band. The size is very small, about an L or size 5. There are two initials stamped inside it - and if someone's lost it then they should know what those initials are.
"I was walking back to the car from Bodega and spotted it. I can't quite recall exactly which store it was outside but it was in the block by the Foodcourt. It was so freezing outside on the Friday morning and there was nothing open in that block at the time.
"If anyone thinks it's theirs they should know the two initials stamped inside the band. If it's yours please email teaochar@outlook.com
