Johnny Jungle is bringing nature to urban living and is more than just a plant shop.
The company first launched in 2017, at the beginning of the indoor plant renaissance. With the help of friends and family, John Mailley and Holly Lavery, who were in their early 20s at the time, set up a glasshouse.
Sales began on Instagram, then an online store, and the occasional pop-up shop. What started as a few seedlings sprouted beyond what they could imagine with a shop now needed to cope with the growth.
Johnny Jungle boasts a diverse collection of plants, meticulously curated to cater to every taste and skill level, specialising in exotic indoor plants and cacti that you can’t buy at regular plant stores. They also stock pots, gifts and they have plenty of advice to keep your plants healthy. The team also goes the extra mile, providing home styling and maintenance on request.
The knowledgeable young duo of Johnny and Holly are passionate plant enthusiasts themselves, ready to guide customers through the selection process and provide expert advice on care and maintenance.

"Indoor plants were proven to liven up homes during the Covid lockdowns. During that time, we saw record breaking orders and that has continued.
There is a world-wide trend towards going green, plant-based and focusing on mental health and indoor plants are scientifically proven to be good for physical and mental health.”
