“As we all know it has been a tedious few years regarding Covid-19 which have affected many with their work life, family life and school life.
Over the Christmas break it had me thinking about the children and how much this has affected them with home learning and not being able to be around their friends and classmates.
It made me think of my own children and question what I could do to help local children understand that school is still relevant and important. Because of this I decided to donate to Richmond Road School, which I have supported over the last six/seven years in the form of sponsorship and fundraising. It was my pleasure to present the school with a $5,000 cheque. It certainly has been tough on the children so it was great knowing I was able to give something back to the community in these times.
