Inspired by an English garden reimagined into an urban setting, Bombay Sapphire and Ponsonby Central bring you Sapphire Nights.
The partnership will transform the entrances and laneway of Ponsonby Central into a summer gin garden. Enjoy the warmer weather in their wonderland, embellished with whimsical touches that take your imagination beyond the city walls.
During the day the garden comes to life with its abundance of greenery and cages of colour, an idyllic place to come and take it in, stop for a bite or enjoy one of the many gin refreshments on offer. As the sun goes down, the lights come on...revealing the full Sapphire Nights experience.
Supported by the eateries, restaurants and bars of Ponsonby Central, each venue will offer a limited-edition gin inspired cocktail to match their signature flavour.
Think Asian street food paired with a refreshing pineapple, lime and mint cocktail, your Turkish dish with blackberry and raspberry infused Bombay bramble, Mediterranean tonic and pomegranate, or experience Argentinian BBQ with Bombay Sapphire, lemon, rosemary and peppercorn. From the bold flavours of the Blue Breeze Inn, the speciality cocktails on offer at Bedford Soda & Liquor, or Foxtrot Palour's take on a Bloody Mary with your brunch, there is something for everyone.
