Developer Andy Davies has done it again - the new boutique hotel he has created is nicely quirky with interesting and occasionally dark design details and art.
The thing that impressed us the most was that Andy had had the place blessed and at the party one of the priests gave the hotel a second blessing - and the crowd all said The Lord's Prayer aloud. It was important and the right thing to do, given the history of the building. Fancy a staycation? They are busy most weekends until February. The nightly rates are extremely competitive - the Convent Petite room starts from $149 per night.
