Sofitel Auckland’s new two-hour spa ritual ‘The Art of Sleep’ offers winter reset
As winter settles in and the year's demands begin to weigh, quality sleep has become the ultimate luxury. Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is inviting Aucklanders and hotel guests to experience 'The Art of Sleep', a new two-hour spa ritual designed to guide the mind and body into a state of deep restoration.
More than a spa treatment, 'The Art of Sleep' takes a holistic approach that views sleep as an intentional ritual. Blending sensory elements such as aromatherapy with mindful practices including deep breathing and meditation, the experience gently soothes the nervous system, inviting deeper sleep, emotional balance and renewed mental clarity.
The journey begins with a 30-minute herbal tea bath, easing guests into stillness before a personalised 75-minute aromatherapy massage. A restorative 15-minute foot massage completes the ritual, and each guest departs with a take-home gift to extend the experience into their own evening routine at home.
'The Art of Sleep' reflects Sofitel's long-standing devotion to the culture of rest, from its signature Sofitel MyBed to its global wellness philosophy that treats sleep as one of life's true luxuries.
