What a day! Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate 60 incredible years of tennis, friendship, and community at Pompallier Lawn Tennis Club on Sunday.

🎁 A Very Special Birthday Gift

PLTC has received a truly special birthday present — a Fred Perry vest with remarkable history. The vest was kindly gifted to the club by Michael Keenan, whose father, Ray, wore it while playing in the Veterans’ Quarter Finals at Wimbledon in 1974.

 

A genuine piece of tennis history, this gift beautifully connects our 60-year story with the sport’s rich heritage.

Attendees enjoyed amazing free coffee, roasted freshly and specifically for the event by member David Thomas, delicious Pandoro buns, donated by member Geoff Bargh, Westmere Butchery saussies, and refreshing ice cream provided by Nadia and Shane. Exclusive club merchandise was up for sale designed by Ollie Bogle.
