Grey Lynn-local Johnny Angel (aka Elvis Presley) is one of this years’ rock ‘n’ roll legends and one of New Zealand’s most successful tribute artists, will be performing at the Gold Coast festival and entertaining crowds old and new with his nostalgic live set. Johnny Angel was born and raised in Grey Lynn, Auckland. He is of New Zealand, Samoan/Chinese cultural background. Johnny has performed as an Elvis Tribute Artist for five years and is renowned for being “Pacific Elvis”. Winner of " 2014 Elvis Down Under Champion (NZ amateur) Title, 2016 Top 10 Viva Surfers Paradise (AUS) and 2018 3rd Place winner at "Elvis in Polynesia" (NZ).
