Situated in a bright, airy space at the top of Summer Street, Farina (meaning flour in Italian) has fast become a popular eatery. Sergio Maglione and Mike Ross offer the legendary metre-long pizzas, perfect for sharing with a group of friends at one of their communal tables. Also on offer are fresh pasta dishes, a range of Neapolitan antipasti and more.
Their menu celebrates authentic Italian cuisine, crafted by Sergio using specialty ingredients sourced directly from Italy. They pair these with fresh, locally selected produce, meats, and seafood for top quality and unique flavour. The menu follows a traditional Italian structure: Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, Contorni, and Dolce. Our beverage program highlights an extensive Italian-focused wine list, premium aperitivos and digestivos, and cocktails crafted with real produce, housemade ingredients, and Italian inspiration—alongside a curated selection of New Zealand wines and classic spirits.
