Cantorum is an auditioned chamber choir based in Ponsonby. The ensemble of 20-30 experienced voices sing a range of music under the guidance of Anita Banbury. As they told us, "We strive to improve the understanding and appreciation of Renaissance and Baroque styles of music for both singers and audience.
"We perform a number of times during the year, including concerts, Evensong, and Christmas Carols at MOTAT.
"Our next concert will be held at All Saints Church in Ponsonby on Friday 27 March at 7.30pm This will be The Conductor’s Choice – a very special concert put together by Anita Banbury reflecting her choral music career over the last 60 years!"
