ArchiPro’s Home Design Evening returns to Auckland’s Shed 10 on Friday 22 May 2026, bringing together more than 60 of New Zealand’s leading product brands, architects, designers and builders.
For one evening, the focus shifts to the decisions that shape a home, opening up the conversations that typically happen behind the scenes.
Designed for those building, renovating or beginning to plan, the event brings ArchiPro’s digital platform into a physical setting. It offers a rare opportunity to move beyond browsing, to meet the brands you have been researching, speak directly with the professionals behind some of the country’s most considered home and experience materials, finishes and products first-hand.
From windows, flooring and surfaces to kitchens, stone, timber and outdoor living, the evening is designed to help attendees move from inspiration to clarity. Exhibiting brands include Altus Window Systems, Sugi, Vidaspace, Artisan Stone, PeterFell and Forté, alongside a broader group of suppliers presenting their latest ranges.
At the centre of the evening is a live panel hosted by Tom Webster, architect and presenter of Grand Designs New Zealand.
The panel discussion explores the planning decisions most homeowners face before construction begins, the choices that determine whether a home works, what it costs and how it feels to live in. From budgeting and material selection to sequencing and collaboration, the conversation offers insight into where value is gained and where it is often lost.
Webster is joined by Andrew Patterson of Pattersons, Nick Roberts of Roberts Gray Architects, Megan Edwards of Megan Edwards Architects, Mitchell Round of RTA Studio, and Oliver Tuck of Oliver Tuck Construction. Together, the panel brings a cross-section of experience across architecture, interiors and construction, offering a more candid look at the decisions that shape not just how a home is built, but how it is lived in.
A number of leading residential architecture and building practices will also be on the exhibition floor, including Lloyd Hartley, Julian Guthrie Architects, Pattersons Associates, Megan Edwards Architects, RTA Studio, C&A Architecture, JTB Architects and Kitchen Architecture. For those considering who to work with, the evening offers a rare chance to meet practices in person, understand how they approach a project, and begin the early conversations that often define how a home comes together. “Home Design Evening is about bringing the right people into the room early,” says Milot Zeqiri, ArchiPro Founder. “So many of the most important decisions in a home happen before construction starts. This event gives homeowners the chance to ask better questions, meet the people behind the work and understand the products and materials that will shape the way they live.”
