taylor’s Shadowplay

taylor’s Shadowplay

taylor’s Shadowplay was conceived as an installation, transforming The Shelter into a gallery-like space where models became the subject of a living exhibition. Guests were guided through six distinct areas, each presenting its own interpretation of the collection, tied together by a unifying dialogue of light and shadow.

Garments echoed this philosophy: elongated silhouettes, laser-cut fabrics, and layered sheers that shifted with movement. A palette of deep blacks, soft greys, complimented with hues of Moonscape and Citrus gave dimension to the shadow itself.

The shadow become less about singular looks and more about a series of curated vignettes – installations within the installation – each one playing with suspension, voids and presence. In true taylor form, clothing was transformative, almost a piece of art, allowing the wearer to manipulate their own experience. Shadowplaypositioned fashion not just as attire but as an atmosphere, an explore of chiaroscuro translated onto the body.
