Ten fruit-forward creations by Sofitel Pastry Chefs available exclusively across 36 properties worldwide, May through July 2026
Sofitel, the pioneer of French luxury hospitality, today announces the launch of Fruit Kiss, the second chapter of its acclaimed La Haute Croissanterie series — a limited-edition collection of ten handcrafted croissants that positions Sofitel breakfast as the most talked-about dining occasion of the season.
Building on the sell-out success of last year's Blossoms collection, Fruit Kiss marks a significant evolution in the hotel group's culinary identity, cementing Sofitel's position not merely as a place to sleep, but as a destination in its own right. For guests in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, the collection is available exclusively across 10 Sofitel properties until the end of July.
Each of the ten creations — among them a Raspberry Kiss with basil-infused jam and Greek yogurt, a Cherry Kiss built around the fruit's fleeting peak season, and a Fig Kiss finished with mascarpone and gold leaf — has been developed by Sofitel Pastry Chefs drawing on the same discipline and precision applied to Haute Couture. The result is a collection that treats the croissant not as a commodity, but as a canvas.
“Creating the Fruit Kiss collection allowed us to bring a new sense of freshness, lightness and indulgence to the guest experience, by celebrating fruit at its peak . With this collection, we wanted each croissant to highlight the true taste of fruit, focusing on clean, natural flavors, balanced textures, and a golden, crisp pastry that supports rather than overpowers the product, resulting in a creation that is both precise and true to its ingredients. Fruit Kiss felt like the perfect opportunity to reinterpret the croissant for the season, with a collection that is joyful, generous and simply delicious” Anne-Cecile Degenne, Corporate Executive Chef of Sofitel and Sofitel Legend.
The collection spans properties from Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour and Sofitel London St James to Sofitel Dubai The Palm and Sofitel Paris Le Scribe Opéra, with first-time participants including Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama City, making Fruit Kiss both a global statement and an unmistakably local experience, with each chef bringing their own market knowledge to bear on the seasonal sourcing.
La Haute Croissanterie was first launched on World Croissant Day in January 2024. In two years, it has redefined what breakfast looks like at a luxury hotel, and set a benchmark that few hospitality brands have attempted to meet. It brings an authentic taste of the best French zest and traditions to the world.
Fruit Kiss is available to the end of July 2026 across 36 Sofitel properties worldwide.
