You may have heard that this iconic part of our community (Gypsy Tea Room) is being shut by Barfoot & Thompson, for no reason. The community is confused and upset that something which makes our neighbourhood so great is being forced to move. Almost 3000 people have signed a petiton protesting against this and now it is time for action.
Come to a public meeting next Wednesday – 10 June. The purpose is to demonstrate how upset people are about B & T’s decision and how much the community wants to save this legendary institution.
B & T has been invited to attend to explain what it is doing and why. Make sure you are there to show the depth of feeling that exists about the closing of this iconic part of our community. Please help spread the word – the greater the turnout, the greater the impact.
