Confidently Colourful: Introducing the Lahood Colourways Collection

If you love colour but feel a little nervous about using it in your home, you are not alone. Choosing fabrics and wallpapers that work beautifully together can feel a little overwhelming. That is exactly the challenge Tricia Dunlop, interior designer at Lahood® Window Furnishings, set out to solve with the newly launched Lahood Colourways Collection.

Recently launched at an exclusive April event at Lahood’s spacious Mt Eden showroom, the Colourways Collection is a thoughtfully curated range of prints, stripes, botanicals and plains for fabrics and wallpapers spanning a rich spectrum of colour. The key to its appeal? Every single design and colourway has been hand picked by Tricia to mix and match effortlessly together whilst also complementing the softer neutrals in Lahood’s wider range. The result is a collection that eliminates uncertainty and replaces it with confidence. No guesswork, just interiors that feel harmonious, layered and thoughtfully put together.

Celebrated Designers
At the centre of the collection is Tricia’s expert eye for colour and composition. She has drawn on the work of two celebrated Australian creatives to create a range that feels both timeless and fresh.

Florence Broadhurst, one of the most iconic names in textile design, is known for her bold and expressive patterns. Her Innocence Mini design within Colourways offers a softer, nature-inspired feel, available in a range of tones from deep Midnight to calming Eucalyptus. It brings a sense of understated elegance to any space.

Sibella Court introduces a more relaxed, layered aesthetic. Her Walker stripe is a versatile classic, available in six colourways that pair easily with other designs. Bittersweet adds a relaxed warmth with its sun kissed tones, while Franklin and Espadrille bring an easy, lived in charm that adds personality without overwhelming a space.

Completing the collection is the Hot Off the Press range from Materialised, the Sydney-based wholesaler. Their in-house designs include Odette, inspired by the hand-crafted charm of Provencal markets, and Sunland, a striking botanical available in both navy and sepia. Each fabric is printed to order by Materialised, using a sophisticated dye sublimation transfer method, ensuring maximum colour depth and fastnesses. A choice of hardwearing polyester and polyester/linen base cloths is used from 300cm wide width sheers through to 140cm drapery and upholstery fabrics.

The Easy Way to Use Colour
What makes the Colourways Collection genuinely different is the thinking behind the curation. Tricia has done the hard work, selecting designs that share a considered palette so you can confidently mix a stripe, a floral and a plain, knowing they will work beautifully together. It is the same approach an interior designer would take, now made simple and accessible. The collection is available for custom curtains, upholstery, wallpaper and blinds.

Introductory Offer
To celebrate the launch, Lahood is offering 25% off curtain making on all Colourways fabrics throughout May 2026.
