Auckland Theatre Company and Auckland Live have extended their major new production of Cabaret, the musical at the Kit Kat Club, adding an extra week of performances through to Sunday 25 October.
Directed by Benjamin Kilby-Henson, following his acclaimed, sold-out season of Macbeth, this major new staging brings together a stellar cast of Aotearoa musical theatre performers. Sixty years after it first premiered, Cabaret remains one of the most iconic and enduring musicals ever written.
Cabaret concludes a year of strong audience response to the engaging storytelling on the ASB Waterfront Theatre stage. Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express, Helen Clark in Six Outfits, RBG: Of Many, One and Macbeth all finished their seasons with sold-out performances.
Tickets for the extension week of Cabaret go on sale on Monday 24 August from 9am.
