Get ready, New Zealand! Acclaimed Aussie entertainer Liam Cooper is heading your way with his spectacular live show King of the Keys, a high-energy celebration of the greatest piano legends of all time.
Performing hit after hit from Billy Joel, Elton John, Peter Allen, Stevie Wonder, Barry Manilow and more, Liam delivers powerhouse vocals, laugh-out-loud storytelling, and a brilliant live band.
“I’ve always been inspired by these artists - the songwriting, the showmanship, the stories,” Liam says. “This show is about sharing that passion, having a laugh, and bringing the crowd along for the ride.”
Although this is Liam’s first time touring New Zealand with King of the Keys, he has a personal connection to the country: his mother was born and raised in Gisborne. As a headline guest entertainer on cruise ships, Liam frequently visits New Zealand, and he’s thrilled to finally bring his full show to audiences onshore.
With a style that blends musicianship, storytelling and showbiz sparkle, Liam has wowed audiences around the world - from bars and ballrooms to cruise ships and concert halls. His online performances and viral YouTube & TikTok videos (including his 40-million-view proposal video) have earned him a loyal fanbase across Australia and beyond.
In King of the Keys, Liam brings you deep into the music with the fascinating (and often funny!) stories behind the songs - like how Let It Be came to Paul McCartney in a dream, or how Billy Joel’s “waitress practicing politics” was inspired by his own first wife.
