Last month 10 designers opened Shop/Slow, a pop-up store at Ponsonby Central, which ran for a week.
As Julia Marin tells us, "Shop/Slow is our natural response to modern day, over-consumption and fast fashion. As a group of emerging New Zealand fashion designers, we want to encourage consumers to buy quality products from the hands of their makers supporting local labels that produce utilising sustainable and ethical practices."
