Te Atatu Pony Club also offers another option - a 10-week course for riders without ponies. This helps introduce keen youngsters to life at pony club, where they can learn the basics of caring for a pony, under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
The club operates from city council leased land on the Te Atatu Peninsula, and offers weekly rallies, with dressage, show jumping and cross-country training, as part of the New Zealand Pony Club curriculum.
