A Pilot, a Flight Attendant and a Passenger walk into a bar... Sounds like the opening line of a joke right? Well, it’s actually the start of Brewport’s story.
They’ll take you back to the early days of 2020… it all started when the trio walked into a bar, little did they know within a few months they would be opening the first ever brewery in Ponsonby, Brewport.
Greg, an Airline Captain, has always enjoyed experimenting with home brewing, forever searching for the perfect IPA.
Kim, a Flight Attendant, after 23 years of flying and facing redundancy, wanted a way to keep her feet on the ground, whilst still fuelling her passion for customer service.
And Andy, a Frequent Flyer, brewmaster and entrepreneur. After taking Greg to brew with some mates, the idea sparked between them over a couple of pints.
Fast forward a few weeks, add in a business plan, and just like that, the Brewport journey begins.
