Inspired by classic and contemporary artists whose work spans poetry, painting and photography, Sarah Harris Gould and Lauren Tapper drew on cherished cultural touchstones when designing the Harris Tapper Pre-Fall 2020 collection, PRELUDE.
Having launched the label three years ago with a line of women’s shirting exclusively, Harris Gould and Tapper have built their repertoire over five seasons, seeing Harris Tapper now offer comprehensive seasonal collections (partly as a reaction to the demands of their customers, but also as a result of their own creative evolutions). They are committed to designing timeless wardrobes for women that work with their lifestyles, and with PRELUDE, they have drawn on a combination of natural fibres and end-of-line fabrics that would otherwise go to landfill for a commitment to sustainable practices, too.
