Emergency Budget decisions will impact Waitematā and Gulf says Councillor

Public consultation on Auckland Council’s Emergency Budget has started, closing 19 June.

Public feedback is sought on proposed rates rises, rates relief and what is important to residents in their local communities. Council’s budget forecast has been slashed by $525 million due to COVID-19 so there will be some tough choices ahead. Councillor for Waitemata and Gulf Pippa Coom has put together this statement about the impact it will have across the ward: https://ourauckland.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/articles/news/2020/06/emergency-budget-decisions-will-impact-waitemata-and-gulf-says-councillor/
